Las Vegas horseback riding prices

Horseback rides from Las Vegas run from under $100 to over $200 a person. The price gap comes down to three things: a meal, hotel transport and whether you can cancel.

Every ride on this page is a guided trail ride for beginners and up. What changes is what wraps around it: a ranch dinner or breakfast, a minibus from your hotel, the scenery, and the booking terms.

Prices below are the from-prices on the live Viator listings in October 2026. They move with the season and the option you pick, so the checkout price is the one that counts.

What does the $160 sunset ride include?

Hotel pickup and drop-off from select Strip hotels, a guided ride of about 1.5 hours, and dinner at the ranch.

Dinner is steak or chicken with a baked potato, corn on the cob, rolls and apple pie, with a vegetarian meal on request. A campfire follows when the weather allows. Gratuities are not included.

The campfire depends on the weather: no fire in wind or rain.

Do children pay less?

No. On every horseback ride listed here, children pay the same price as adults.

The Wild West rides take riders from age 6, and the Red Rock rides from age 7. A family of four on the sunset ride pays about $640 before tips. See horseback riding with kids for the helmet and age rules.

Is the breakfast ride cheaper than the dinner ride?

Yes: the morning ride with breakfast is from $130, about $30 less than the sunset ride with dinner, at the same ranch.

The ride length is about the same, around 1.5 hours. You trade the sunset and the campfire for cooler morning air and a free afternoon. Compare them in sunset or breakfast ride.

Why are some rides only $85 to $116?

Because they do not include hotel transport, and the bookings are non-refundable.

The two Silver State rides meet at a desert site near Henderson (or Mount Charleston in hot months); you drive there or pay extra for the shuttle. They rate 4.0, and some reviewers report trouble finding the meeting point, rides moved for heat and shorter rides than expected. If you have a car and flexible plans they can work; otherwise the extra for hotel pickup and free cancellation is worth paying.

Is it cheaper to book with the operator directly?

For Cowboy Trail Rides at Red Rock, no: the operator's own site lists the sunset barbecue ride at $199 and the Canyon Rim Ride at $149, the same as Viator.

We could not find an official website with prices for Wild West Horseback Adventures, so we cannot compare its direct rate. On Viator you get free cancellation up to 24 hours before on these rides and over a thousand guest reviews in one place.

What extra costs should you budget for?

Tips for the wranglers and the cook, and any drinks beyond what the listing includes.

Gratuities are excluded on all the Wild West and Red Rock rides. On the Red Rock sunset ride soft drinks and bottled water are included; the Wild West listing does not list drinks, so bring water.
